About the Speaker

John W. Boland 

Tyler Chamber of Commerce Veterans Committee 

John W. Boland (BA, MA) majored in political science, speech & history.

Authored 41 books on things that matter to God. Certified in College Business Management, Building Inspection, a master level teacher. Listed in Who’s Who among High School Teachers, Texas Business Professionals, Who's Who in America, and in the World. Past president of Rotary. A Paul Harris Fellow.

Currently involved with the Lausanne Movement, Global Workplace Network Involved with, helped organize, & spoke at the 3rd Congress on World Evangelism (2010); Young Leaders Conference (2016); Global Workplace Forum (2019); L4NY (2022); and Workplace Track for the 4th Congress on World Evangelism (2024).

Experienced in such workplace environments as school & college administration; public, college & university classrooms; city manager; and church ministries. The recipient of the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award (2018).
