Participants will explore the change journey that accompanies job transitions and examine how resilience helps individuals adapt, recover, and move forward. Through discussion, self-reflection, and simple frameworks, attendees will gain tools to better manage the emotional ups and downs of the job search process and maintain momentum during periods of uncertainty.
About the Speaker
Karen Clem is the Founder and Chief Zest Officer of Clementine Talent Strategies, with more than 20 years of experience in learning, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness. She partners with frontline teams, leaders, executives, and public-sector organizations to strengthen performance through practical, people-centered learning.

With experience spanning instructional design, facilitation, and enterprise talent development leadership, Karen helps organizations move beyond “check-the-box” training to learning experiences that drive real behavior change. She believes great development isn’t about more content, but about clarity, connection, and creating the conditions for people to do their best work.
Karen holds a Master’s degree in Applied Technology, Training & Development from the University of North Texas and is certified in Everything DiSC, MBTI, Insights Discovery, and EQ-i 2.0. Clementine Talent Strategies is an authorized Wiley partner for Everything DiSC and Lencioni’s Five Behaviors learning experiences.
Karen is a native Tylerite currently living in Dallas. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her two schnauzers and boyfriend, cheering on UT football, singing, and volunteering with Historic Tyler Tour of Homes. She is deeply involved with the Dallas chapter of ATD (Association of Talent Development), where she has served on the board for four years and is currently President-Elect, with plans to serve as President in 2027. When she’s not working or volunteering, you’ll likely find her attending Broadway musicals in Dallas.
